Affiliate & Sponsorship Disclosure
UnflatVR is free to use and is supported in part by affiliate links, creator codes, and, sometimes, sponsorships.
Affiliate links
Some store links on UnflatVR are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra.
We may earn commissions from:
- Green Man Gaming, Humble Store, Microsoft Store, and Loaded (formerly CDKeys), through Impact
- Fanatical, through CJ Affiliate
- GOG, through CJ Affiliate
- Eneba, through the Eneba partner program
- Kinguin, through Kinguin UP
Affiliate links are marked “paid link” next to the link or button. Pages that contain them also show a short note.
Links that don’t pay us
- Epic Games Store links are plain store links for now. We are not in Epic’s creator program yet.
- Steam links are plain store links. Steam has no affiliate program.
- eBay links (for delisted games) are plain search links. We earn nothing from them.
- Links to mod developers (GitHub, itch.io, Nexus Mods, Patreon, Ko-fi, and others) are never paid links.
Keyshops
Some partners (Loaded, Eneba, Kinguin, and others) are key resellers or marketplaces, not the game’s official store. Check the seller, region, and platform before you buy. Your purchase is between you and that store.
What doesn’t change
- Mods are listed because they’re relevant, not because a link pays. Most entries link only to free developer pages.
- If we show store prices or a best price, that comes from price data, not from which store pays us more.
- Commissions don’t affect a mod’s status or what we say about it.
- We never link to game files, ROMs, or unofficial sources, whether paid or not.
Sponsorships
If a developer, publisher, or company pays us or gives us something of value for coverage, it will be clearly labeled “Sponsored” or “Paid partnership” at the top of that content, together with the sponsor’s name. Free review copies or keys will be noted on the page as “We received a free copy from [company].”
