Request a Mod
Suggest a new VR mod for UnflatVR. Fill in the short form and we'll research it and email you back. To fix an existing listing, use Fix this listing on that mod's page.
Guidelines
- Must be a VR mod or port of a flat (non-VR) game, or VR emulation of a console VR game, for PCVR, Quest/standalone, or Steam Frame.
- Needs a public release page (GitHub, Nexus Mods, itch.io, the developer's site, or Discord). No patron-only or unreleased mods until there's a public download.
- No vorpX profiles (see our FAQ). No depth-injection or 3D-shader-only setups.
- Mods that require the original game files are fine. Mods whose download includes the game itself, ROMs or disc images are not listed, and we never link to them.
- No mods whose download includes files or assets from other games, such as character models, maps, textures or audio taken from licensed titles.
- No mods for adult-content games.
- Review and gameplay videos must be in English and must not link to piracy.
- Every listing is verified before it goes live. Adding one can take until the next update cycle.
How to send a request
- Enter the game name and the mod name as the developer writes them.
- Paste at least one link to the mod's official release page (GitHub, Nexus Mods, itch.io, the developer's site, or Discord), one per line.
- Tick every platform the mod runs on: PCVR, Quest or Steam Frame.
- Add your name and email so we can reply, then press Send request.
What happens next
- You get a confirmation email right away with your request ID (MR-…).
- Our team checks the mod against the guidelines on the developer's own page: developer, version, release date and install steps.
- If it qualifies, we add it. If it doesn't, or we need more details, we tell you why.
- We email you back from [email protected] with the result.
- If your mod is added, we email you again when it's live on UnflatVR, with a link to it.
Required fields are marked *. That's the minimum we need to look up the mod.
