Battlefield 1942 is DICE's 2002 World War II shooter of large combined-arms battles on foot, in vehicles and in aircraft. This free mod adds stereo PC VR with tracked aiming, VR menus and comfort options.
Controls Aim weapons with your tracked controller, steady supported guns with your other hand, and point at the Quick Menu with a laser; vehicle and mounted guns follow your right hand.

What you need

Own Battlefield 1942 PC install (no longer sold) with BF42++ 2.0 or newer
Supply your own legally owned copy; UnflatVR never hosts or links game files.
How to install
Install summary: Make sure BF42++ is installed, run the BFVR setup on your Battlefield 1942 folder, start your OpenXR runtime, then launch BFVR.exe.

Stereo OpenXR rendering with tracked-controller aiming, two-handed weapon grip, aim-down-sights, VR menus and a laser Quick Menu, controller-aimed vehicle and mounted weapons, head-tracked audio, and comfort and graphics options. Works in single player and on servers that allow client mods. Bindings for Touch, Index and Vive controllers. MIT. No game files included.
