FreeSpace 2 is Volition's 1999 space combat sim of fighter dogfights and capital-ship battles in the Terran-Vasudan war. This free VR mode in the FreeSpace Open engine puts you in the cockpit in stereo VR.

Notes
VR mode built into the FreeSpace Open engine (version 24.0 and newer) over OpenXR, with stereo and head tracking in the cockpit. The VR FS2 MVPS package plays the FreeSpace 2 campaign with the MediaVP graphics updates and VR cockpits; other FreeSpace mods can run in VR with extra flags and fixes listed on the wiki. AMD GPUs have reported poor performance. No game files included.
