IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946 is 1C: Maddox Games' 2006 WWII combat flight sim that bundles the IL-2 series content. This free mod adds true stereo 6DOF VR with gaze-driven cockpit panels.

Notes
True stereo OpenVR rendering with full 6DOF head tracking in the cockpit (lean out to look around), plus world-space VR panels for the map, flight data, messages, multiplayer orders and a Command Box of cockpit commands. You interact by looking: a head-locked reticle highlights a button and an interact key or joystick button clicks it, with no controller lasers. Includes a 5x hold-to-zoom magnifier, per-aircraft near-clip tuning and a config tool for panel layout. A refactor of firepolo's 2020 OpenVR mod. The CPU is the bottleneck; Steam Link works for Quest streaming. Windows, SteamVR. No game files included.
