Fatal Racing (Whiplash in North America) is Gremlin Interactive's 1995 DOS stunt racer. This free open-source mod adds a head-tracked cockpit VR mode with in-headset menus and HUD.
Controls Seated cockpit view with head tracking; steer with the left stick, accelerate and brake with the triggers, or use a wheel, gamepad or keyboard.

Own Whiplash / Fatal Racing (1995); copy the FATDATA folder from your own disc
Supply your own legally owned copy; UnflatVR never hosts or links game files.
How to install
Install summary: Extract the release zip, set SteamVR as the OpenXR runtime, copy your disc's FATDATA into a fatdata folder, then run RUN-VR.bat.

Version 1.0. A fork of ROLLER, the open-source reimplementation of Whiplash / Fatal Racing created by Zizin13 and developed by the FatalDecomp contributors, with an OpenXR cockpit VR mode: head-tracked stereo view scaled to real-world size with the whole track drawn, menus and HUD in the headset, a VR OPTIONS page (comfort vignette, HUD layouts) and a screenshot shortcut. Drive with the Steam Frame, Oculus Touch or simple controller profiles, a wheel, a gamepad or the keyboard. Developed on Windows 11 with SteamVR and a Steam Frame; also runs on Linux with Monado. GPLv3. No game data included.
