BioShock is 2K Boston and 2K Australia's 2007 first-person shooter set in the fallen underwater city of Rapture. This free port runs it standalone on Quest with hand-aimed weapons and plasmids and a swingable wrench.

Notes

Experimental standalone VR port for Meta Quest built on WinlatorXR, which runs the Windows game through Wine, CPU translation and DXVK, while a native D3D9 mod adds head and hand tracking, depth-based stereo, separate 3D weapons, VR menu panels with a pointer ray, weapon and plasmid reticles and a left-wrist HUD. Aim weapons with the right controller and plasmids with the left, and swing your right hand to strike with the wrench (gesture adapted from VR-Stereo-Hub's BioShock Trilogy VR). Targets Quest 3/3S; development testing used Quest 2, and a steady 72 FPS is not guaranteed. A Pico 4 Ultra version is in development. Needs about 10 GB on the PC and 14 GB on the headset; Remastered is not compatible. GPL-3.0. No game files included.
