Black & White is Lionhead Studios' 2001 god game in which you rule villagers and raise a giant Creature. This free mod puts the original in VR with your hands as the Hand reaching into the land.

What you need

Own Black & White (2001, the first game) for PC; no store sells it today, so use your own copy such as the original CD, updated with patches 1.10 and 1.20 and the unofficial patch 1.42

Notes

Alpha. A mod for the original game, not a remake: your hands are the Hand, the land sits at waist height and you reach in to grab, throw and cast. Needs a 32-bit OpenXR runtime (Virtual Desktop VDXR or SteamVR). Tested with Quest 3 through Virtual Desktop. An experimental Steam Frame add-on ships in the same release. MIT licence. No game files included.
